This is just the beginning

Well we had our first Made for Cache meeting last night...at Casper's. That place is DELISH! Good idea to have our meeting where I could eat ice cream, Blaire! All who showed up: Jenny, Jan, Charlene, Blaire, and I. It was great to meet each other and learn about each others' businesses. We talked about how to get noticed on Etsy, and different ways to get the word out about our team. I noticed we all have things to contribute, and I'm excited to round up some more members.

In summary, we need a blog (check!), we need a Facebook group (check!) and we all need to learn the "magic" of Twitter to reach our different audiences. I'm still new at Twitter, but hopefully it will make sense soon. And of course, we must master Etsy. Some day these things will be easy for all of us, but until then we have a lot of educating each other to do. At our next meeting we'll be talking more about that.

We also talked about the different events where we can set up real shops, and how we can plan them together to be most efficient.

If you are in Cache Valley, you create things to sell to people you know will love the craftsmanship, originality, quality, and LOVE you put into each of your products *gasp for air*, then please join us! The more the merrier, you know. And I can already tell from our first meeting that we have a lot to learn from each other.
